Pencarrow Cricket ClubAn idyllic estate ground in East Cornwall, the PCG is one of the oldest and most picturesque cricketing venues in the County.
Having been one of the first cricket clubs formed in Cornwall, Pencarrow CC built a strong side comprised mostly of the estate workforce. Pencarrow followed a trio of Wadebridge District League titles with entry into the fledgling Cornwall Cricket League in 1929. Having folded some 2 decades earlier, Pencarrow CC were re-formed and re-admitted into the Cornish League during the 1980s. |
SuccessThe team enjoyed consecutive promotions and won a County Final in the mid-nineties.
A 2nd XI, launched in the late nineties, was soon forced to withdraw, but youngsters from that team inspired the 1st XI to another era of success.

A New EraPencarrow won the Division 5E title and County Final in 2005. Having been relegated for the first time since reformation after 3 years in Division 4 in 2008, PCC narrowly missed out an immediate return in 2009.
The club has recently attracted a number of new faces and achieved successive promotions in 2012, 2013 and 2014, with the Senior side now playing in Division2E; the time is right to improve, develop, grow and sustain cricket at PencarrowCC. We are entered a 2nd XI in 2015 so why not join us and share our success. Pencarrow Cricket Club is affiliated to the Cornwall Cricket League .
